Lakewood Elementary, Stonewall Jackson Elementary, J.L. Long Middle School and Woodrow Wilson High School have teamed up with local businesses to create a joint community fundraiser. The schools will use the funds to make sure teachers have the supplies and equipment to provide the best education for their students.
Society Bakery, True Beauty Rx, Studio B, Times Ten Cellars and No More 'To Go' - offer major discounts on popular items, with a percentage of the sales going back to the schools.
Society Bakery - 67% off a dozen award-winning, gourmet cupcakes. The Ellen DeGeneres Show named the cupcakes from Society Bakery as one of the Top 10 cupcakes in America. 25% of proceeds go to the schools.
True Beauty Rx - 65%off of Beauty Services. Allure magazine named True Beauty Rx as the best facial service in Dallas in their October issue. 15% of proceeds go to the schools.
Studio B - 40% off a week-long summer dance camp. They teach various style of dance, such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and musical arts. 40% of proceeds go to the schools.
Times Ten Cellars - 28% off a private party for up to 50 people, with a private bar and bar staff, personalized sign for the party, tables and chairs for the event and a clean up crew. 25% of proceeds go to the schools.
