Stein Mart department store at Hillside Village will open its doors a little wider for Dallas ISD teachers, staff, and administrators from 1-3 p.m. Aug. 17.

The store will put on a "fashion presentation," which we suspect might be similar to a fashion show, plus serve refreshments and conduct prize drawings for store gift cards.

DISD teachers and school employees — nothing at district office employees, so sorry Dr. Hinojosa — who show official identification will be eligible.

The store also will extend a 20 percent discount off any one item, not the entire purchase, to ID'd school employees.
