We dispatched my wife — OK, we asked real nice like and she graciously agreed — to snap a photo of the trumpeting robot on display at the State Fair of Texas.

As an added bonus, she filed a photo she took of a bird trainer showing off an owl's talents.

We decided to share the photo even though there is no connection, as far was we know, between the neighborhood and the bird trainer, or the bird, for that matter.

But my wife was impressed by the exhibition, she loves animals, she liked the photo, it's her birthday week, and I'm pretty much going to do whatever she wants, so here ya go.
